The information was revealed by Geoff Keighley, who will be the event’s host.
For players who were optimistic that Hollow Knight: Silksong would appear at Gamescom Opening Night Live, Geoff Keighley has warned on social media that the game will not be shown at the presentation.
“Just to clarify, there is no Silksong Tuesday on ONL.” He said Kelly. “The Cherry Games team is still cooking,” the announcer explained, referring to work on the game.
Silksong initially appeared as an expansion to Hollow Knight, until February 2019 when it became a sequel focusing on the character Hornet, from the original game. Since then, few details about the game have been revealed.
In 2022, it was announced that the game would be available on Xbox Game Pass at launch, which suggested at the time that a release might be imminent, but that turned out not to be the case.
Despite the absence of Hollow Knight: Silksong, Keighley has confirmed the names of some of the games that will be present at Gamescom Opening Night Live, which will take place this Tuesday (20) at 3 pm (Brasilia time).
