Singer and actress Taryn Zpilman presents Thursday’s “A Century of Jazz and Blues: From the 1920s to 2020”. In her performance, the artist evokes the aesthetics of Hollywood actresses and intellectuals of the forties and fifties of the last century.
Tomorrow it will be the turn of the Blues Etílicas – the longest-lived blues band in Brazil – who will perform in celebration of their 35th anniversary. With 13 albums released, including live, studio and collage albums, the group has established itself with a sound that traverses Brazilian music and roots in Chicago Blues and Mississippi.
On Saturday 24, musician Andre Jreissati gave a performance to celebrate his 70th birthday. He showed himself between the 1970s and 1980s as one of the most innovative guitarists in Brazilian instrumental music, with an unusual tuning on his hard guitar, and was responsible for the project that brought about the largest instrumental record in modern Brazilian history.
