SERA will have an Innovation, Science and Technology Day

Fans of innovation and creativity will have an unmissable meeting on Saturday (25) at Conexão Geek, an event full of knowledge, fun and trends. The meeting will be held at UCL College, in Manguinhos, from 9am to 5pm, and promises to be a day full of activities.

There, visitors will be able to meet cosplayers competing for prizes totaling R$600, and will also be able to enjoy an experience at Maid Café Anime, a Japanese café offering fun immersion in the world of anime and personalized service.

In addition, they will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the free-to-play PlayStation 5 experience, a modern video game with top-notch hardware and impressive features, including Tempest Engine audio technology for immersive 3D audio. .

Participants will also be able to improve their skills in workshops such as “Drawing Action Figures,” exploring 3D-printed objects, and “Stop-Motion Drawing,” a technique that uses multiple photographs to simulate movement. Moreover, the meeting promises to serve as a showcase of innovative projects from educational institutions, which will showcase their prototypes.

Innovation Week

Conexão Geek concludes with a flourish the first Week of Innovation, Science and Technology, which began on Wednesday (22) with the presentation of innovative projects and a special programme. The most distinguished projects during the week will be honored in the coming days, ending this period of celebration of innovation and knowledge.

This week is promoted by the Serra City Council, through the Secretariat of Innovation, Science and Technology (Seicit), with the support of partners.

Seicit President Pedro Trindade points out that this is the first time that the municipality has held an event of this size, which is a milestone in promoting innovation in the municipality, as such events are crucial to inspiring people and institutions and providing a unique educational space.

“This meeting not only brings together enthusiasts, but also creates tangible opportunities for people to learn about innovation and technology. These initiatives stimulate passion for virtual and creative worlds and encourage the development of practical skills.
