One of Ninho’s sons is about to fly from Mengão and switch to Ecuadorean football. Right-back Klebinho is expected to sign a contract with Guayaquil City FC, a top-tier player in that country. According to information from the Ecuadorean radio station “Area Desportiva 99.3FM”, the player has agreed practically everything with the Andean club.
The full-back will arrive in Ecuador to play for a team that finishes last in the national championship. The task will be to help the team escape relegation. An official announcement of the contraction is expected in the next few days.
Klebinho was promoted to professional in 2017, having played only seven matches for Mais Querido’s first team. The player has passes for the 2015 Brazil U-17 national team, and has played in South America and the world in this category. For the Rubro-Negra team, he was part of the champion team of the Sao Paulo Junior Soccer Cup in 2016. In his resume, he played 31 matches for Tokyo Verde of Japan. After playing in Asian football in 2019, he returned to Rio de Janeiro.
In May 2021, from Rogério Ceni’s plans for the season, Fla closed a loan agreement from Klebinho to Cruzeiro, however, the trip in Minas Gerais did not result in progress for the athlete. He played in only one match, after the departure of Felipe Conceicao de Cruzeiro, he ended up losing space, as the fired coach indicated his appointment. Since he has a contract with Gávea until December, the contract will be terminated until he can sign with the city of Guayaquil.
