The deadline for submitting projects in the Tecnova II program ends on Friday (16). The partnership between the state government, through the Araucária Foundation, and the funder of studies and projects at the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation, the program has a value of R $ 9.5 million and aims to support economic support of up to 25 technological innovation projects.
Priority areas are agricultural engineering (agriculture / agribusiness); Health (Health Sciences / Biomedical / Biotechnology); Alternative Energies Metal Mechanics / Electronic Electronics, Information and Communication Technology.
Exceptionally, its secondary objective will be to support research and innovation projects that contribute to the development of new solutions with an emergency focus on dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic, its consequences, and other acute respiratory syndromes.
The program aims to provide an opportunity to present the country’s productive sector in the national context to encourage technological innovation, by identifying new ideas and stimulating new, often unknown, talents in the small and micro-business sector.
The program is also supported by the Supervisory Authority for Science, Technology and Higher Education and the Public Authority for Innovation, Sebrae / PR and Senai / PR.
