The 16th National Science and Technology Week in Roraima began on the 17th with events at UFRR and will end with the Research Fair and Activities this weekend. According to the general coordinator, Bianca Boldrini, the entire event is funded by CNPq (National Council for Scientific and Technological Development), the Ministry of Science and Technology and the National Scientific Development Fund.

Works in paleontology, botany and zoology will be featured. Among the key technologies that will be presented to the public are biological nitrogen fixation (BNF), fertilization, biological control and extraction, which will be made available through graphic materials and sample presentation. The audience will be interacted with in talks about Embrapa Roraima’s work, at the sample exhibition and in workshops with children to spark interest in the sustainability of agricultural environments.
