Singer Rodrigo Tezer brings Salvador’s “Tribute to the King of Pop,” on October 23, at 7 p.m., at the Acoustic Shell of the Castro Alves Theater (TCA). The show recreates the entire structure of Michael Jackson’s major shows. Costumes, special effects, and dancers make up the show in honor of the world’s biggest pop star.
The show is directed by Laville Smith Jr., the dancer and choreographer for the King of Pop himself for years and arrives in the Bahian capital after touring the United States, with shows on Broadway, in New York, Orlando and Los Angeles. Rodrigo Teezer also visited Dubai, Malaysia and Singapore.
In the repertoire, great classics such as “Billie Jean”, “Thriller”, “Beat it”, “Smooth Criminal” and “Black or White”, among others, are interpreted directly in the artist’s voice.
It is worth noting that the choreography, arrangements, and entire production of the tribute follow the pattern of Michael’s Tours.
