Ricardinho bets on Patrick de Paula in Botafogo as a ‘5’ and sees Luis Oyama as a banker ‘initially’

Botafogo has officially announced the arrival of midfielders Patrick de Paula and Luis Oyama in recent days. For the vast majority of the audience, the two should make up the titular duo in Luis Castro’s header region. However, commentator Ricardinho gave a different opinion: for him, the former Mirassol arrives as an option for the former palmeirense.

– At first I see Oyama as part of the cast. It makes sense for the two to play together, but I think Patrick de Paula is doing more as a midfielder. It was like that when he started in Palmeiras, because he has good passing, strength, good accuracy, and there he can perform better, he is a more modern midfielder, he knows how to spin the ball. The other commentator at the table, Carlos Eduardo Mansour, considered Ricardinho’s notes interesting, but said he saw the two reinforcements as Luis Castro’s bearers.
