Sunsoft Advertise Clock Tower: Rewind will be released on October 31 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Switch. Release dates for the PC and Xbox Series X|S versions were not available (via Jimatsu).
Anyone attending Tokyo Game Show 2024, which takes place from September 26 to 29 at the Makuhari Messe convention center in Chiba, Japan, will be able to test out the game at the Happinet booth.
Clock Tower: Rewind brings the classic 16-bit horror game, originally released in 1995, to the present day. You play as teenage orphan Jennifer, who must search the Barrows’ mansion while looking for ways to escape the psychopathic killer known as Man-Scissors, who uses giant scissors to kill his victims.
The new version of the game can be played in the same original gameplay as well as in an enhanced mode that contains improvements and additional content. Additional features include a new animated intro, opening and ending songs, animated comedy scenes, a creator interview, an art gallery, a save, and a music player.
