The British royal family has announced a vacancy for a cleaning staff at Buckingham Palace – the home of Queen Elizabeth II. Information from the British Daily Mail.
The job will work 40 hours per week, Monday through Sunday. The advertised salary can reach up to 22,600 pounds per year – the equivalent of 169,000 Brazilian reais. Therefore, per month, the new appointment of the royal family can receive 14 thousand Brazilian reals. Applications for the vacancy continue until October 20.
The selected person will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining several rooms in Buckingham Palace. The official residence of the Queen has an area of 77 thousand square meters and 775 rooms.
The description makes it clear that the first requirement will not be expertise, but attention to detail.
Additionally, the ad claims to be looking for a proactive profile who has good time management skills and doesn’t mind playing around with a full hour.
The ad reads, “Above all else, you will be eager to learn and develop your skills. This is your chance to use your enthusiasm and passion to deliver the exceptional.”
The spot for the cleaning crew is one of ten open spaces in the British Ryan family. Buckingham Palace also has job opportunities for a building manager to assist with renovations, a systems analyst and an assistant manager for a restaurant.
