An Instagram account posted a photo of Prince Harry arriving in Vilankulu, Mozambique, this week. The prince was not accompanied by his wife, Meghan Markle.
According to information from Hello! magazine, the prince reportedly chose to stay at Vilanculos Beach Lodge – a luxury beachfront resort described as “one of the best hotels in Vilanculo.”
Vilanculos Beach Lodge is located in the small coastal town of Vilanculo in the subtropical Inhambane Province of Mozambique. The Twitter post fueled the rumours. see below.
No information has been confirmed by the Prince’s spokesperson, but according to Hello! Prince Harry magazine: “He went on a sightseeing tour of the region with his friends,” in addition to meeting Yassine Amoji, president of the Mozambican Tourism Association.
The reason for his visit was not disclosed, but it is known that Prince Harry has charitable projects in Mozambique and other countries on the African continent. Harry had previously shared his desire to move with Meghan to Africa permanently. “Look, the rest of our lives, especially our life work, will focus mostly on Africa, on conservation,” he said in an ITV documentary.
“There are so many things to do. There are so many problems here, but there is also huge potential for solutions,” Prince Harry said.
UK trip next month
Earlier this week, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced that they would be in the UK next month. According to the information released by the couple’s spokesperson, “Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, are delighted to visit various charities in early September.”
The Sussex trip will take four days and will include visits to organizations in Britain. From the 5th to the 8th of September, Harry and Meghan will be in the UK and also in Germany.
In Germany, Sussex participate in the Invictus Games, which are held in Dusseldorf. The Invictus Games is a competition created by Prince Harry and has been receiving support from the Prince since 2014.
