Pope Francis became a topic on social networks on Saturday (25.03) the devout clicked in an elegant white midi tunic full of details.
The pontiff was dressed by designer Filippo Sorcinelli, 48, the tailor responsible for the pontiff’s clothes. The atelier, located in Rome, Italy, has sections for creating, sewing, and finishing sacred garments.
In an interview with the TAB Blog, Filippou said that the entire composition of fabrics, colors and accessories used in the clothing intended for the pope is decided along with the team for the pontifical liturgical ceremonies.
The designer was also a tailor for Pope Benedict XVI. In another interview, he spoke of the differences between popes:
“These are essential differences, but at the same time they are marginal, because everything is a continuity in the history of the Church. But they are different because all popes come from other parts of the world with different cultures.
