According to TrueTrophies statistics, based on around three million players, there was a significant drop in the number of players on PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium in July: titles in the catalogue were recorded -48.67% compared to Junedespite the content provided.
A chaotic event if we consider that this month saw the arrival of popular products such as Remnant 2, Crisis Core – Final Fantasy 7 – Reunion, No More Heroes 3 and others, in a total of nine games to which we must also add some important PlayStation classics.
What happened?
There are some clarifications about what was found: in June, some PS4 and PS5 games linked to the Days of Play promotion arrived, which enriched the catalog in a certain way, and excluding them the decrease would be around 19% per month.
