The values will be higher than the minimum wage
The value offered by the platforms will be an hourly wage higher than the minimum wage, which is R$6 per hour (R$1,320 per month). It looks at the costs of personnel in vehicles and cell phones, for example.
However, the companies imposed some conditions on the worker to receive the proposed amount. They noted that the minimum wage should take into account that “the clock works effectively and clearly.”
This means that the calculation does not take into account the time the driver or delivery person is online with the app, but only the period when they actually perform the ride or delivery.
This time will be counted from the period in which you accepted the application in the application.
negative reflection
The proposed minimum wage for applications did not satisfy couriers and drivers, as expected. The category called for R$44 for drivers per hour versus R$44 and R$71.75 for drivers.
“It was much less than we wanted. The proposed value, for example, was R$44 per hour worked in the races. Thus, we will have to revise this spreadsheet presented at the next meeting, which is scheduled for the 29th. We have already seen that the platforms have It excluded many of the costs to workers, for example, argued Rodrigo Lopez, president of the Self-Employed and Employed Union with Moto and Bikes by App in Pernambuco, part of WG with CUT reference.

In the opinion of Leandro Cruz, president of Stattesp, the federation representing app drivers in São Paulo, R$15.60 is less than what the major platforms currently practice. “This is not acceptable,” he said.
The costs are in
The main criticism is the lack of consideration regarding the operational cost schedule for the drivers. In addition to fuel and maintenance, there are expenses related to vehicle depreciation and other indirect costs. In comparison, many workers in other categories receive benefits such as transportation vouchers and food vouchers, which don’t happen with app drivers.
The discussion continues on the 29th, when another meeting of the working group will be held.
