The Rubens de Azevedo Planetarium celebrates the anniversary of the Center for Art and Culture with a program to recognize science and disseminate information about astronomy and related sciences.

In celebration of the 22nd anniversary of the establishment of the Dragão do Mar Center for Arts and Culture, this Wednesday (28), Planetarium Rubens de Azevedo first appeared on your channelThe program “Divulgando Ciência” begins at 8 pm, which brings together famous scholars in each edition to clarify doubts about the contents of astronomy and related sciences, with director Dermeval Carneiro. To open the Profa Astrophysicist Interview Series. Dra. Lia Medeiros and Prof. Dr. Daniel Brito de Freitas has been invited to speak on “black holes and exoplanets”.

According to Professor Dermival Carneiro, the “Divulgando Ciência” program is designed as a means of explaining the most diverse topics related to astronomy and related sciences to curious and working people, thus making famous scholars share the discoveries and developments in the field, in a simpler language for all audiences.

a. Dr.. Daniel Brito de Freitas

Doctorate in Astrophysics from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) with a PhD period in Astrophysics at the Arcetri Observatory of Astrophysics in Italy. He is Associate Professor 1 in the Department of Physics at UFC and is currently a Postdoctoral in Exoplanet Science at the Astrophysics Observatory in Catania, Italy for the PLATO mission.
