PIS/Pasep will have a new batch in 2022; See who receives from April

In 2022 salary bonus PIS / Pasep It will be in two installments. After the end of the base year 2020 benefit calendar, workers who no longer withdraw their base year 2019 benefit will be able to get a refund.

The Ministry of Labor and Social Security announced this possibility, stressing that more than 154,000 workers deserve the bonus. Deposit will be made for those who have “mistakenly processed the 2019 basic year salary allowance.”

Last year, the deadline for withdrawing the 2019 salary allowance was June 30, 2021. But given that the entitlement is guaranteed by law for up to 5 years, the federal government has announced that forgotten amounts may be requested again.

This way, workers who have not received the benefit will be automatically deposited into the Caixa Digital Savings Account, without the need to submit any type of application.

In addition to the 154,000 people who did not receive the 2019 allowance due to a processing error, another 320,000 workers who simply failed to withdraw the benefit will be able to apply for the funds.

According to the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, approximately 208 million Brazilian reals have been forgotten by people entitled to PIS / Pasep The withdrawal did not take place on time.

However, it should be noted that the deadline for requesting withdrawal of allowance PIS / Pasep 2019 will only open on March 31, 2022, when current benefit payments for the end of the base year 2020 expire.

To verify the new withdrawal of the forgotten salary allowance, the worker can access the digital labor card application (available for Android and iOS) or submit the application in person at one of the service units of the Ministry of Labor.
