Total oil and gas production reached 2.77 million barrels of oil equivalent per day (MMboed) last year, about 4% more than the target of 2.72 million barrels per day.
Primary salt, totaling 1.95 million barrels in 2021, represents 70% of Petrobras’ total production.
The state-owned company highlights the start of production at the FPSO Carioca, the first platform in the Sépia field, in the pre-salt layer of the Santos Basin, as well as the start of the joint sharing agreement for the Búzios field, which regulates the coexistence of a onerous assignment agreement and a production sharing contract for surplus cumbersome allotment for the field.
In addition, Petrobras highlights the completion of the sale of its entire stake in the offshore fields Frade, in Campos Basin, Lapa, in the pre-salt Santos Basin, in Bols Río Ventura, Miranga and Ramansó, in the state of Da Bahia, and Cricari, in The state of Espirito Santo, as well as the fields of Dó-Ré-Mi and Rabo Branco, in the state of Sergipe.
