Olympia will be the opponent of Fluminense in the third stage of the Libertadores. This Thursday, Paraguay drew 1-1 with Atlético Nacional in Colombia, taking up the rankings after winning the first leg 3-1.
The first leg match between Fluminense and Olympia will be held in Rio de Janeiro, next Tuesday, at the Nilton Santos Stadium. The return is scheduled for March 15 in Paraguay. The winner of this confrontation secures his place in the group stage of the Libertadores.

To qualify, Olympia had to curb the pressure of Atletico Nacional led by the crowd at Atanasio Girardot Stadium. Midfielder Andres Andrade opened the scoring for Nacional in the first minute of the second half. But Olympia tied at the age of 12 with defender Salcedo.
With all else equal on the scoreboard, the match remained tense. In the 31st minute, defender Aguilar of Nacional and striker Paiva of Olympia were sent off after an argument.
Like Fluminense, Olympia reached the 2021 Libertadores quarter-finals. On that occasion, the Paraguayan team was knocked out by Flamengo.
