Discovery suggests that a PC release of the game could be coming soon.
NVIDIA released the new driver 560.81 for its GeForce graphics cards this week, providing configuration profiles for One Human, Stormgate, The First Descendant, Dungeonborne, and Chained Together.
However, user m_w_h Reddit It was discovered that the driver also comes with profiles for Final Fantasy XVI and Final Fantasy XVI Demo, which were not mentioned in the official driver notes released by NVIDIA.
Information verified by the page computer gamesindicating that there is not much time left until the game is released on PC.
The game’s producer, Naoki Yoshida, will be at gamescom at the end of the month, so there’s a chance that Final Fantasy XVI for PC, or at least a demo of it, will be shown off or even released at the event.
Months ago, Yoshida said that development on this version of Final Fantasy XVI was going well, but he wasn’t ready to reveal a release date yet. However, he did confirm that there would be a demo on PC.
Final Fantasy XVI is currently available for PlayStation 5 only.
