Igor Shesterkin – As a goaltender for the New York Rangers, Shesterkin was adept in 2022 with 79 saves in his first game in the NHL playoffs, setting the all-time record for saves in a playoff game for the second-most saves in a playoff game in the entire league. Connor McDavid- Considered by many to be the fastest player in the league, center McDavid led his Edmonton Oilers to the Western Conference Finals in 2022, leading among all playoff players with 10 goals and 23 assists. McDavid also became the first player since Peter Forsberg in 2002 to be the first player to score without playing in the Final Round. In McDavid’s 2022-23 season opener, Connor increased his career point total to 700, becoming the sixth-fastest player to reach the milestone and the fastest since the 1980s. He finished second in the 2021-22 Hart Trophy.
Nathan McKinnon- Historically an exceptional player in the post-season, McKinnon was also part of the 2022 Stanley Cup champion Colorado Avalanche as he led all skaters with 13 goals going into the 2022 playoffs. In league history by average annual value, McKinnon continues to deliver at an impressive pace while at the same Time to overcome injuries.
