It seems that the strike of actors and screenwriters in Hollywood in the United States has received new Brazilian support. Actress Bruna Marquezine, 27, has spoken out in favor of the professionals’ strike, which began early Friday (14).
The Brazilian, who will appear for the first time in the DC movie “Besouro Azul”, has shown that she stands up for the neglected professionals working in major Hollywood.
On social media, the artist reposted a post from her co-star, Xolo Maridueña, where she talks about the support of the cast and screenwriters.
I will always be on the side of initiatives fighting for the advancement of the artistic community, both in my country and abroad. As the actors can no longer participate in any promotion of their projects until the end of the strike, the support of the fans will be essential to achieving the visibility and recognition that Besoro deserves. I will always be grateful to the Besouro Azul family, cast and crew. I’m with you,” the post reads.
Screenwriters, who have been paralyzed since May, demand better pay and category respect. Then the actors decided to join the screenwriters in a strike the likes of which Hollywood had not seen in 60 years.
“Prone to fits of apathy. Problem solver. Twitter buff. Wannabe music advocate.”
