Defender Murilo was released by Corinthians and will travel on Monday to undergo a medical and sign a contract with Nottingham Forest in England. And he becomes a stealer for the match against Estudiantes, Tuesday, by CONMEBOL Sudamericana.
The English club will receive 80% of the player’s economic rights for 13 million euros (68.6 million Brazilian riyals). The contract stipulates a bonus of more than 3 million euros (15.8 million Brazilian reals) if the goals are achieved.
Murilo was targeted by other European clubs in this transfer period, such as Fiorentina, Napoli and Turin, Italy, but he preferred to play in the English Premier League.
At Nottingham Forest, he will play with defender Felipe, Brazilian champion of Corinthians in 2015 and is now 34 years old. Other Brazilians include midfielder Danilo, a former Palmeiras player, and Andre Santos, a former Vasco signing who was bought and loaned by Chelsea.
Murillo has been formed in Timão’s primary and has made 27 appearances for the professional team. The club had 80% of the financial rights of the defender, and the rest was in his hands and in the hands of the agents.

The initial intention was to keep Murillo until at least the end of the year, but a good run by Caetano, who also plays on the left side of defense for the Luxembourg side, gave the board more security to complete negotiations on the matter. The window that closes on the 1st of September.
