Monarch says he regrets his apology after the Nazi ad

Bruno Job, better known as Monarch, has revealed his regret for his apology after he advocated the creation of a Nazi party in Brazil. He points out that he confirmed the validity of the cancellation by apologizing.

In an interview with Rica Perrone of the Cara a Tapa podcast, he said, “It wasn’t smart of me to apologize. I guess I should have stayed silent. I shouldn’t apologize, I should have made my point. [de vista]. The problem with offering an apology is that you validate the narrative that you did what you were accused of, even if it wasn’t true.”

“I didn’t apologize for my idea, I suppose. I still believe in the First Amendment to the United States, and I still think it’s an excellent law that governs freedom of speech, the better [lei] In that sense…but I apologize for the way I communicated this idea to the population. Monarch explained.

Remember the case

During the Flow podcast on February 7, the presenter stated that “the radical left has a lot more space than the radical right. The two should have had space in my opinion.”

“I think there should be a Nazi party recognized by law,” said the influencer, who finally wondered: “Don’t people have the right to be idiots?”

After the backlash and several sponsors canceled their contracts with the podcast, Monarch apologized, asked for the audience’s understanding, and claimed he was drunk while recording the show.

The Flow Podcast is brought to Flow Studios, owner of a series of podcasts, such as the Flow Sport Club. The company has Bruno Job as a partner. In a statement, the studio only confirmed YouTube’s exit from the program, but did not mention its separation from the company’s structure.
