In the mall, learn about the creative workshops developed in partnership with Univille and held for children, and also get to check out the small rocket workshop run by the competition team at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC). ), the Cosmos rocket. The workshop teaches adults and children from 4 years of age how to assemble and launch rockets safely.

During the visit, the Minister spoke with members of the Cosmos Rocketry team and learned about the Cosmos Launch Vehicle (VLK) rocket on display at the Garten Shopping Centre.
Made entirely in-house and by undergraduate students, the VLK flew up to three kilometers in the United States in June of this year during the world’s largest experimental rocket competition – the Spaceport America Cup, where Kosmos was the only South American team To attend the event and receive the “Team Spirit” award.
