Mi 11 Ultra: the Xiaomi phone is the real king of cameras? | Analysis / review

We have it on hand Mi 11 UltraThe most advanced phone from Xiaomi that came to fight with the best options from Samsung and Apple. Its design is much bolder and brings a giant mass of cameras right into the small secondary screen inherited from the Mi Band 5. What’s the good and the bad about it? Let’s find out.

Mi 11 Ultra has a premium finish with a metal body and a ceramic back, and is IP68 certified to protect against water and dust. There is Gorilla Glass Victus to protect the screen from scratches and possible breakage. The Xiaomi top does not have a P2 input, but it does come with an adapter in the box, which is a rarity these days.

The AMOLED screen has a 120Hz panel, strong brightness and well-calibrated colors. It defaults to 60Hz mode to help the drums work more, but it’s worth switching to the auto mode that switches from 30 to 120Hz for superior fluidity. There is stereo sound with Harman Kardon brand speakers that provide power and good sound quality.

The mobile comes with Snapdragon 888 platform along with plenty of RAM. In our speed test, we didn’t see a jump compared to Wednesday 11 or even Mi 10 UltraHowever, MIUI 12.5 has already shown in other devices that it lacks optimization. At least it ran all the games at maximum quality and with the best possible fluidity.

5000mAh battery can produce more. It has good autonomy and can last all day if it does not demand too much from the device and with the screen at 60Hz. It’s lower than the Samsung competitor that offers more autonomy with the screen at 120Hz. At least one Xiaomi model spends a little time in the socket to fully recharge the battery.
