Mario Vargas Llosa: “Between Bolsonaro and Lola, I prefer Bolsonaro”

Vargas Llosa stressed that Bolsonaro “is not a candidate that we’re excited about”, although he was only highly critical of him when he spoke about his refusal of vaccines against Covid-19, a disease that the Cervantes prize winner just suffered.

“It’s ridiculous, it’s ridiculous to confront each other the way you did. It seems to me completely irresponsible,” he said.
