Serasa has brought together more than a thousand companies for the first time and is organizing what it calls the largest edition in the history of Serasa Limpa Nome Feirão, which began this week. The goal of this initiative, as highlighted by the institution in a note, is to “combat the country’s rising defaults.”
In the new version, consumers will be able to negotiate debts with banks, retail companies, telecommunications, water, energy, etc., and obtain discounts of up to 99%. It is possible to negotiate until November 29, and there are more than 550 million offers with special discounts and installments. You download the Serasa app on your cell phone, and you need to enter your CPF number and fill out a short registration form. All consumer information appears on the screen.
The 32nd edition of Feirão Serasa Limpa Nome also brings something new compared to other editions. Consumers with more than one debt can consolidate their debts into a single payment method, i.e. it is possible to choose a unified due date and pay off all debts in one invoice or in the same Pix key.
“The new functionality gives consumers control, helps organize their finances and fights defaults from the beginning,” notes Aline Maciel, Serasa Limpa Nome Platform Manager.
“Because there are scattered accounts, it is difficult to keep track of all payment dates and keep all amounts in mind at all times,” Allen explained. “By consolidating debts into one document, we reduce the risk of the consumer getting lost and having to pay interest and penalties for delays and even having his name negative,” the expert concluded.
