the SBT It was officially confirmed on Friday (11) that Cleber Machado has left the Abravanel family broadcaster. The narrator, as the column already reported, accepted Record’s proposal and will narrate the Brazilian championship from 2025.
In a note, SBT thanked Clipper for the services provided. “From now on, SBT is grateful for all the dedication, professionalism and commitment of Cléber Machado, for being part of the great moments in the broadcaster’s success,” the company says.
SBT says it is negotiating for Cléber Machado to continue until the end of the year, to narrate the Copa Sudamericana. The narrator also thanked the broadcaster. “I would also like to thank and record the joy of being part of the SBT crew, my coworkers, the wonderful environment and the results obtained,” highlights Kleber Machado.
In the statement, SBT says it learned of Record’s proposal from Cléber at the beginning of September. When contacted by the column at the end of last month, Cléber Machado denied holding any talks at the time.
Kleber had a short spell at Record last year, shortly after leaving Globo, his professional home for 35 years. He narrated Paulistao’s final matches, but later signed with SBT. On the Abravanel Family Channel, in addition to narrating games, he also presented Arena SBT.
The reason for leaving is that Kleber agreed to go to him register. At the broadcaster Edir Macedowill be part of the team that will tell the story Paulista Championship and Brazilian Championship 2025.
