It was 1988 and Mrs. Dee was on an official visit to the Royal Regiment of the United Kingdom. Last weekend, Kate Middleton released photos of her at a similar event in honor of Armed Forces Day in the UK.
According to the comment posted on the social media of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Kate’s visit would have taken place in November last year, but it has only been revealed now. She spent time with the 101st Operational Support Brigade at Abingdon Airport, learning how recruits and new hires are trained.
At the time, Kate was in full military clothing, including a camouflage jacket, while climbing and standing on a tank during the visit.
The fact is that many royal experts, looking at photos of Kate, remembered the visit of Princess Diana in 1988, during a visit to the Royal Hampshire Regiment, in Tidworth.
Commenting on photos posted on social media, Kate shared a touching tribute: “Today, on Armed Forces Day, William and I would like to pay tribute to the brave men and women, past and present, serving in all members of our Armed Forces., at sea, On land and in the air, here in the UK and around the world,”
And she continued, “Thank you for everything you and your family sacrificed to keep us safe.”
“Last year, I had the privilege of spending some time with BritishArmy to learn how to train staff and new recruits. It was great to see the many important and diverse roles that the military plays day in and day out to protect us all,” Kate wrote.
“Prone to fits of apathy. Problem solver. Twitter buff. Wannabe music advocate.”
