Italy handles 16,000 cases daily and the UK over 2,000 – Administrative Digest

These are the last 24 hours statistics on the epidemiological situation in Italy and the United Kingdom.

As the state of emergency lasted until April 30, Italy recorded 469 deaths and 16,618 new cases from Kovit-19 in the last 24 hours.

The death toll has risen to 15,557 since the onset of the health emergency in mid-February 2020. The total number of infections is estimated at 3,736,526.

Areas with the highest daily increase in cases today: Lombardy, Campania and Emilia-Romagna. There are still more than 26,000 inpatients, 3,490 of whom are in intensive care.

In the last 24 hours, there have been 38 deaths and 2,491 new Covid-19 cases in the UK, according to the British government.

Of the 4,478,305 confirmed cases of infection since the onset of the Covit-19 epidemic, a total of 127,161 have died in the UK.

In addition, 181 new patients have been admitted to hospitals for a total of 460,334 since the onset of the public health crisis. About 370 of them are in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
