Italy
As the state of emergency lasted until April 30, Italy recorded 469 deaths and 16,618 new cases from Kovit-19 in the last 24 hours.
The death toll has risen to 15,557 since the onset of the health emergency in mid-February 2020. The total number of infections is estimated at 3,736,526.
Areas with the highest daily increase in cases today: Lombardy, Campania and Emilia-Romagna. There are still more than 26,000 inpatients, 3,490 of whom are in intensive care.
