The Palestinian Prisoners’ Club said on Wednesday that the Israeli occupation army carried out large-scale arrest campaigns against Palestinians in the northern Gaza Strip.
The non-governmental organization said in a statement, “Hundreds of detainees in Gaza are still forcibly disappeared in Israeli prisons and occupation camps.”
The Israeli army intensified its massive attack on the northern Gaza Strip amid a stifling siege that left tens of thousands of residents without food and water.
The attack, which began on October 5, was the latest episode in a brutal Israeli onslaught that has killed nearly 42,800 people, most of them women and children, and injured more than 100,400 others since last year following a Hamas attack.
The scenes emerging from northern Gaza are a new sign of the horror and crimes being committed there
The association said.
He added that among the details were “dozens of women, children and medical staff, who were specifically targeted, in addition to hospitals that were a major target of the genocide.”
Some details were executed in the camp, while others were subjected to continuous torture, abuse, and humiliation 24 hours a day to this day.
The statement said.
The group said that the testimonies and data collected from the published details showed “shocking and horrifying details, including crimes of starvation, medical neglect, and torture.”
The Israeli attack on Gaza has led to the displacement of almost the entire population of the Strip amid the ongoing siege that has led to severe shortages of food, clean water and medicine.
Israel faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its actions in Gaza.
