Introducing the GUESS USA Fall 2022 Collection

Since 1981, GUESS has had a unique vision of ‘American style’ and a vast archive of design and photography.

Nicolai Marciano brought in photographer Eli Russell Linnetts to refresh GUESS USA, a subsidiary brand of California-based GUESS. Created by Nicolai Marciano, the clothing collection reinvents and illuminates the American Western aesthetic. Photography was directed by Linnettes, whose vision was infused with an intrinsically American energy and attitude.

Beginning in fall 2022, the collection is distributed exclusively through GUESS USA’s global partnership, Slam Jam, serving select retailers worldwide.

This synergistic partnership creates a superior package that taps into GUESS USA’s rich portfolio. Inspired by exclusive pieces found in the GUESS atelier designed in the 80s, 90s and 2000s, none of these pieces have ever been produced.

From its first marketing campaigns, GUESS has championed the medium of photography, pioneering a new advertising and branding approach. Sometimes featuring no clothing at all, iconic advertisements sold a lifestyle and the American dream, a major theme also found in the work of Eli Russell Linnetts.
