Inter presidential candidates express their intention to retain Caudet in 2024 | international

If he wishes, Eduardo Codet has everything he needs to stay at Inter in 2024. The Argentine coach has a contract until the end of the year, but the candidates for the club presidency, Alessandro Barcelos and Roberto Melo, have already expressed their interest. Even in Spain, Codet followed him near Barcelos. The president even expressed a desire for the coach to return throughout his administration. Back in Brazil, the Argentine coached Atletico MG, but left in June. A month later, he was appointed to replace Mano Menezes. In response to a question about the possibility of keeping the coach if he is re-elected, Barcelos was clear.

The coach accepted the offer after meeting with the then coach in Argentina, but only left Cilindro at the end of the year. When Codet arrived in Beira Rio, Milo had already left his position, and Barcelos had replaced him. Today, the Chancellor, the opposition candidate, maintains his admiration for the professional.

The first round of Inter elections will take place on November 7, with voting in the Deliberative Council. If neither candidate receives 85% of the votes, club members will elect the next president, in a vote scheduled for December 9, when a 50% renewal of the club’s board of directors will also be voted on.
