The North American company was announced on Thursday (23). Through his blog, he shows how the resources available to Google One members work in practice.
How does Magic Eraser work?
First of all, the editing tool is based on artificial intelligence (AI). The way it works is simple, Magic Eraser is able to identify different elements within an image and adjustments can be made from there.
Noting aberrations and imperfections, the user can remove them with a few clicks and retouch their final image. For example, if an unwanted person appears in the background of your beach photo, just click on it and it will be removed.
Furthermore, Camouflage in Magic Eraser has been added, which can change the color of objects in images to help them blend in naturally with the rest of the image.
Other features added by Google
Another novelty is the HDR effect for photos which, according to the company, serves to balance dark foregrounds with light backgrounds or vice versa. For videos, it works in a way that enhances brightness and contrast for those who want well-balanced, dramatic videos.
In Google Photos, some updates aimed at the collage editor have been implemented. All Google Photos users can now apply styles to a single photo in the editor.
At the same time, for Google One members and Pixel users, more variety comes to the collage editor so that users can get more designs during the selection process.
Finally, something that doesn’t apply to us Brazilians: free shipping on print orders. Google One subscribers now enjoy free shipping on print orders in the United States, Canada, the European Union, and the United Kingdom.
How to use the new Google One feature
In order for users to be able to use the feature, Google One is required. It’s a subscription service that seeks to offer more storage spaces and additional features in a way that integrates other company resources, such as Google Drive and Google Photos.
Google One has three subscriptions that can be subscribed to on a monthly or yearly basis:
- 100 GB: R$6.99
- 200 GB: R$9.99
- 2 TB: BRL 34.99
