Taxpayers who filed a 2024 income tax return are awaiting consultation on the second batch of refunds. According to the IRS, payment will be made on June 28. However, consultation will be available from June 21.
The first payment covered more than 6.4 million people, and was paid on May 31. Refunds follow priority criteria. Exceptionally, residents of the state of Rio Grande Sul were included in the group, due to the floods that struck the state. See priority in the second batch:
- 258,877 elderly people over 80 years old
- 2,595,933 taxpayers between the ages of 60 and 79
- 162,902 taxpayers have some physical or mental disability, or serious illness
- 1,105,772 taxpayers whose largest source of income is teaching
- 787,747 taxpayers who received priority used a pre-filled return or chose to receive their refund via PIX.
Despite the priority list, other taxpayers can also receive the second payment. The payment calendar runs until September of this year. paying off:
- First payment: May 31, already paid;
- Second batch: June 28;
- Third batch: July 31;
- Fourth batch: August 30;
- Fifth and final installment: September 30.
