The coordination of the Local Organizing Committee of Paraná Faz Ciência 2024 reports that registrations are open to select volunteer observers to work in the various activities of the event, which will take place on the campus of the State University of Maringá (UEM) between October 7 and 11.
The goal is to select undergraduate and graduate students from UEM to serve as observers, help organize and assist participants, and contribute to the success of Paraná Faz Ciência.
Undergraduate and graduate students can participate Extreme precision from the European Monetary Union. Participation as an observer is voluntary and will not be compensated. Available shifts are: 8am – 12pm, 12pm – 4pm, and 4pm – 8pm. Students will be able to inform their availability and choose between a 4-hour or 8-hour daily workload.
Monitor tasks
- Welcoming, registering and organizing visitors, and providing information about the event and the UEM.
- Assisting researchers and exhibitors in the technical aspects of setting up and organizing the exhibition, in addition to solving potential problems.
- – Carrying out other activities related to organizing and managing the event, as necessary.
- Selected observers will receive specific instructions at a meeting on October 5, at 2 p.m., at a location to be determined and communicated in advance.
