Several couriers. The performance mode remains unchanged…
The past few days have seen a lot of work for Guerrilla Games, trying to respond to all requests from players, and analyzing complaints about AAA Horizon Forbidden West, in order to correct the problems discovered.
“Horizon Forbidden West patch 1.05 will be released today! Our team is working hard to address some of the issues you’ve reported, and will continue to review issues and feedback from our community.”
forbidden west received today One update, 1005, is 451.7 MB on PlayStation 5. You can expect some issues to be fixed, related to main and side quests, activities in the world of Forbidden West, gameplay tweaks, general performance improvements, etc.
questions related to the picture, in both performance mode and quality mode, has yet to be fully addressed. It’s good to know that flickering is corrected in quality mode, at least that’s what the studio says, the more HDR is activated, there is an increase in the sharpness in the image.
Regarding the visual issues in performance mode, unfortunately nothing has been done. Guerrilla Games says they are working on this issue, which is one of their top priorities at the moment. This seems to be a more complex problem to solve, as it has to be related to game resolution in this mode and even dynamic resolution implementation by Chess board.
“The team is investigating high priority on several of the graphical issues that players reported regarding flicker, sharpness, and screen saturation when moving the camera.”
Interestingly, Guerrilla Games, when referring to the “various graphical issues that players reported regarding flicker, sharpness and screen saturation when moving the camera,” does not directly link it to Performance Mode, with many players complaining in terms of visuals. We don’t have a straightforward approach to every offer, whether it’s performance or quality.
