Here are Meghan and Harry’s pledge renewal plans

Madeira’s wedding marks the fifth anniversary of the couple’s union and we know Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are about to celebrate the date. The two married at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle, on May 19, 2008. So, next year will be an important date for the couple.

According to British Marie Claire, an unnamed source would have said the Duke and Duchess of Sussex would be preparing to celebrate the date next year. Also, according to this source, they are planning an “awakening party in the United States”.

Also according to this source, “They search in different venues and decide what kind of party they want as well as how many guests they will invite.”

Who will be the guests?

The source continues to Marie Claire UK: “Meghan’s mother Doria will be on the list but she will be the only member of the family. So there will be a few of your close friends in the US like Catherine and David [Foster]Janina [Gavankar]Priyanka and Nick Jonas may, but obviously all of that will depend on their schedules.”

“There will be papers for the kids and they will write their own vows. The big plan is to turn them into a big family vacation which will also be a second honeymoon.”

“They are more in love now than ever and are proud of everything they have been through together in the past four years. Saying your vows again is a nice way to stress that out,” the source said.

Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding was a celebration filled with a breach of royal protocol. Both wanted to personalize the details, but of course everything is within what is expected of a royal wedding.

In 2020, they decided to step down from their roles as a royal and moved to the United States, after a short stint in Canada.
