In Hollywood, the actor has always been known as a real geek.
The first part of season 3 of The Witcher arrived on Netflix on June 29, and now even the most avid fans already know everything that happened in the new episodes. Inspired mostly by book and game mythology, the final chapter marks Henry Cavill’s farewell to the role of Geralt of Rivia, the character who will now be played by Liam Hemsworth.
In an interview with diverseAnya Chalotra, Yennefer’s interpreter in the plot, revealed that despite the farewell, Cavill is completely smitten with the world of the saga. She was impressed by the superstar’s knowledge of the franchise, praising how rich she was during the recordings.
“He’s very involved with his understanding and interpretation of this character, something he’s been very passionate about from day one (…) All I’ve seen is his dedication to Geralt and this novel.”said Charlotra.

“Working with someone who loves the material used is a breath of fresh air. It really is. Because he knows more than anyone about the world of The Witcher, all the rules and laws of the world of The Witcher.
