A different Captain America! Chris Evans’ Stevie Rogers leaves and Anthony Mackie’s Sam Wilson, formerly known as Falcao in Marvel Studios films, enters. In the first trailer for “Captain America: New World Order”, released on Friday (12), we get to know this new phase of the hero and learn a little about the other characters in the film, such as Harrison Ford.
The Hollywood star has been tasked with continuing the role of General Thunderbolt Ross, which he has played since his 2008 debut in “Incredible Hulk,” for actor William Hurt, who passed away in 2022. But at this point, as well as Captain America, the general has changed: he is now the President of the United States.

In the trailer, we get more glimpses of the new Captain America’s new costume, the new Falcon, and the Red Hulk, who in the comics is Thunderbolt Ross himself. The character’s appearance left fans surprised and delighted by the movie on social media.
“This is a buzzkill,” one X user wrote. “Wow, the red Hulk,” another gleefully said. “RED HULK IN THE MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) F******,” wrote someone even more excited by his massive appearance.
When the news was confirmed early last year, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige praised the actor. “It’s incredible to meet him and talk to him and he’s embraced this role. He’s tireless in the amount of work he puts in,” he told The Hollywood Reporter.
“Captain America: New World Order” will continue the story told in Disney+’s “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier” series, in which Sam Wilson officially takes over the role formerly held by Steve Rogers. It is set to premiere on February 14, 2025, and will be the final film in Marvel’s Phase 5.
