the actor Grand Theft Auto VStephen Ogg said developer Rockstar Games originally planned to expand the story focusing on Trevor, although it was apparently canceled as a result of… GTA Online become very popular.
Ogg was joined by Michael's actor Ned Locke and Franklin's actor Sean Fontenot for a Q&A with Streamily (via Download that it IGN). The trio commented on the neglected DLC for GTA 5starring Trevor as an FBI agent.
“Originally, they were going to continue the stories of Michael, Franklin, and Trevor,” Locke said, and Ogg expanded his version. “We also had this really cool thing — and I forget if it's DLC, I have no idea — but where Trevor is going to be undercover, he's working for the feds,” Ogg said. “And we portrayed some of these things as 'James Bond Trevor.' He's still a little crazy, but he's trying his best. And we filmed some stuff and then it disappeared and they never followed up on it.
Luke then suggested that it was canceled due to its success GTA Online, which remains as popular in 2024 as it was when it was released more than a decade ago. “They went to GTA Online“I think so,” Luke said of the cancellation of the story DLC.
