The New World Tour, known as Childish Gambino’s “final” tour, will head to the UK in November and early December to play main stages in Manchester, Glasgow, London, Birmingham and Dublin, Ireland. .
This comes after Glover postponed the remainder of his North American tour last month to focus on his “physical health.”
“After the examination in New Orleans, I went to the hospital in Houston to make sure the condition was good,” Glover told Channel 10 on Friday.
“After assessment, it became clear that I would not be able to perform that night and, after further testing, would not be able to perform the remainder of the US tour in the required time,” he said.
“As of now, surgery is planned and I need time to recover.”
The music star did not give details about his health problem.
But the 41-year-old actor said the road to recovery was “something I had to face seriously.”
“However, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the remainder of the North American tour, as well as the UK and European dates,” he continued.
“I want nothing more than to bring this show to the fans and perform. Until then, thank you for your love, privacy and support.
