The Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation, through the Funder of Studies and Projects (Finep), launched this Thursday (2) a Invitation to select projects Innovation in the Defense Industrial Base (IDB).
The goal is to award economic support resources to the development of innovative products, processes, or services in two main areas: Defense Technologies (TD) and Biological, Nuclear, Chemical and Radiological Defense (DBNQR). Altogether, grants can reach R$120 million. The resources come from the National Scientific and Technological Development Fund.
“Ensuring our technological sovereignty is fundamental. It is a contrasting moment, which I fear will be a source of great economic support,” said the Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation, Paulo Alvim, during the event to launch the public call.
