Gasoline presents details of the physical condition and partnership projects with Lincoln in Cruzeiro

Cruzeiro’s new consolidation of the Brazilian Championship’s second division sequence, right-back Wesley Gasolina, on Friday (12/8) gave his first press conference as a club player. Highlighting his versatility in the field, he talked about his physical condition and recalled his partnership with Lincoln in Sion, Switzerland.

When he was still defending for the Swiss national team, Gasolina also played as a right winger. The defender said he could repeat Cruzeiro’s tactical change if coach Paolo Pezulano needed him during matches.

“This (polyvalence) is very important for people who can play in more than one position, I have this quality, I can play winger or winger there in Switzerland. Of course, I prefer playing on the wing, but if the coach wants to play I am as a striker or something like that. I can do it quietly,” he said.

He said, “My physical condition is good, because I was already training. It was my first contact with the group and it was a very good training, very intense training. I am ready to make my debut and now it is up to the coach.” .

Partnership with Lincoln

“I have played with Lincoln for more than eight years at Flamengo and in the national team, I know him a lot, I know the moves he makes within the region and the way he plays. So I am sure that everything will work out in the cruise business.”

However, Gasoline will have to wait a little longer to reissue the partnership with Lincoln. The attacker is awaiting the settlement of his documents, which are due to be published at the beginning of next week, so that he can make his debut.
