Games from the Kingdom Hearts series are finally coming to Steam

In a recent post on its official blog, Square announced that the Kingdom Hearts series of games will be released in steam in June 13allowing a new wave of players to access the saga.

In March 2021, the Kingdom Hearts series games finally arrived on PC, but everyone was surprised to find out that the titles would be sold exclusively through the Epic Games Store. Recently, Square Enix announced that it plans to expand its range with cross-platform releases, and it appears that the first fruits of this new strategy are already beginning to appear.

Launched in 2002, Kingdom Hearts is one of Square Enix’s most ambitious and beloved series. From an unexpected merger with Disney, a complex story full of mysteries was born, telling the story of the struggle between light and darkness.

To make life easier for fans, Square has launched bundles containing remastered versions of old games, allowing the entire saga to be available on existing platforms in a more “tight” way. Currently, the series can be divided into the following packs and games, all of which will be available on Steam soon:

Games are also available for purchase on PS4, Xbox One, and PC via the Epic Games Store and Nintendo Switch (cloud versions only).

So, are you looking forward to the releases?
