Galaxy S24 Ultra images leak and reveal an uninnovative design

Images of the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra were leaked on Friday (29). The leak comes on the same day that the Galaxy S24 skin appeared on the web.

According to the site, The S24 Ultra will have a 6.8-inch display, but with thinner bezels And discreet thanks to the curved sides. Screen resolution must be Quad HD+.

Today’s leak did not provide details about the cameras, but previous rumors indicate that the main sensor will be 200 megapixels and that one of the components will be a telephoto sensor with 5x optical zoom.

It’s hard to find many differences compared to the Galaxy S23 Ultra. However, one highlight is the adoption of an Ultra Wide Band (UWB) antenna on the right side.

This technology forms the short-range communications standard adopted in positioning devices, such as Apple’s Airtags.

In terms of dimensions, rumors indicate that the Galaxy S24 Ultra will have dimensions of 162.3 x 79 x 8.7 mm – smaller than its predecessor with dimensions of 163.4 x 78.1 x 8.9 mm. Its body should be made of titanium, just like the iPhone 15 Pro, resulting in a lighter device (233 grams). Finally, the battery should be 5,000 mAh with support for 45W fast charging.

The supposed skin of the Galaxy S24+ also appeared on the web on Friday (29). Like other models in the line, it is practically identical to its predecessor, but with straight edges reminiscent of the iPhone 14.

The Galaxy S24+ follows the same visual style as the Galaxy S24, but in a larger size. The 6.7-inch screen provides a more immersive experience for device owners, but the body is also made of metal with a glass back.

The future launch should measure 158.5 x 75.9 x 7.75mm, which is slightly longer and thinner than the Galaxy S23+ (157.8 x 76.2 x 7.6mm). The camera array on the back follows the same design without a module, and finally, there is a slot for a UWB antenna on the side.

When will the Galaxy S24 line launch?

The new Galaxy S24 family is scheduled to be launched in January 2024. At the moment, there is no specific information about the presentation.

Before that, Samsung is supposed to have another important launch: the Galaxy S23 FE. The “cheap” version of the 2023 model is scheduled to be announced in October of this year.
