Samsung will launch its flagship Galaxy S24 smartphone lineup early next year. The line is expected to once again consist of three models, including the Standard, Plus and Ultra. And now, the leak has just revealed the main camera specifications of the Galaxy S24 Ultra.
According to leakster RGcloudS, the Galaxy S24 Ultra will feature a 200-megapixel main rear camera with a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 10-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. However, the biggest surprise will be the new 48-megapixel periscope lens, which will bring 5x optical zoom instead of 10x in previous generations.

Despite the reduction in optical zoom, the source says Samsung will still maintain the classic 100x digital zoom from previous models. It is clear that the South Korean manufacturer will use some software maneuvers to maintain good image quality from a distance. However, it should be noted that this information is still just speculation and has not been confirmed by the company.
The Galaxy S24 Ultra is also expected to feature a high-quality panel that has higher brightness than its predecessors. The model is also expected to get a 5,000 mAh battery, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, and a matte finish.
More details about the Galaxy S24 series are expected to emerge as we approach the end of 2023.
