Gabigol ended a ten-match fast without scoring for Flamengo
Flamengo debuted on Sunday (16) by winning the Brazilian Championship. At the Maracanã, Mais Querido defeated Coritiba, 3-0, in the first round of the national competition. Scored the second red and black goal of the match, Gabigol quickly finished off the goals and is the 10th highest-scoring athlete in the club’s history.
Swinging the net against Coritiba, Gabigol reached 143 goals and scored wearing the sacred mantle. In light of this, the Negro red number 10 has isolated himself as the tenth player to score the most goals for the Flamengo. The forward has overtaken Indio, and is now sixth behind Zizinho, who is ninth in Mingo’s top scorer list.
Watch the top 10 of FLA’s biggest scorers:

By defeating Coritiba, Flamengo ended a four-game winless streak this season. Since there is a milder climate, most of my dear now don’t have much time to party. That’s because, on Wednesday (19), Rubro Negro commits to the Libertadores de América.
At 21:30 (Brasilian time) this Wednesday (19), Flamengo receives Nublense (Che), in a match valid for the second round of the Libertadores. As usual, Coluna do Fla presents the most red and black broadcast on the Internet, in the “angry” voice of Rafa Pinedo, via Youtube. In Brazil, Mingo will play again next Sunday (23rd), against Internacional, in Porto Alegre. The duel takes place at 11 am (Brasilia time), at Estádio Beira-Rio.
