Fundect will support science, technology and innovation events at MS – General

With an investment of R$ 1.2 million, Fundect (Foundation supporting the development of education, science and technology in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul) launched appeal no. 22/2023 – PAE-MS 2023 invites researchers associated with scientific and technological (ICT) institutions and universities located in Mato Grosso do Sul to submit proposals for financial support.

The goal is to support the holding of scientific, technological and innovation events of regional, national or international scope to be implemented in the country. The support is intended for scientific, technological and innovation events that will strengthen research groups and consolidate scientific and technological bases capable of benefiting sectors and activities that are considered to be of strategic importance for the economic and social development of the country.

PAE also helps disseminate scientific, technological and innovation knowledge, strengthens postgraduate programs and the state science, technology and innovation system, through partnerships between higher education and/or research institutions and companies, as well as attracting researchers and professionals from other states to learn about Matu. Grosso do Sul, promoting scientific tourism.

It should be noted that each proposal for a national or international event must include at least two different educational and/or research institutions in Mato Grosso do Sul in the organizing team.

In this year’s notice, proposals for regional events can ask for up to R$30,000, at national level up to R$50,000, and for international events, the maximum amount requested is up to R$80,000. Approved events must only take place during the period from June 2024 to May 2025.
