Ford Transit Van Sprinter attacks with technology for 239,900 BRL

After closing factories and halting domestic production, Ford based the restructuring on two pillars: luxury cars and commercial vehicles.

Both versions of the Transit van feature a 2.0 turbo diesel engine. There is 170 hp and a maximum torque of 39.7 kg/m, linked to a six-speed manual transmission.

This is the same group that drives the passenger version. The point is the fact that the truck can be driven by anyone driver’s license Type B (the same required to drive a passenger car), since its total gross weight (or GWP) is no more than 3.5 tons.

Ford has invested in security to try to steal sales from rivals Mercedes-Benz Sprinter and Renault Master. That’s why Transit offers the AdvanceTrac Package, which includes features like stability and traction controls, hill-start assist, torque control cornering, transverse wind stabilization, electronic roll control, and emergency braking lights.

Ford offers a one-year or 100,000-kilometer warranty. Revisions are scheduled to be carried out at intervals of 20 thousand km.
